Following a closely fought victory of the bottom placed club the Sale Sharks against the London Welsh, The Exiles are now just one point off the foot of the table. With seven games of the season still left to play, the London Welsh are now two points clear of the Berkshire club.
Speaking to BBC Radio Berkshire, Fisher stated that the London Irish have been playing decent rugby over the last few weeks and therefore, the players will not get panicky, no matter what the situation might be.

Although Fisher admitted that the club would rather be in a better position compared to where they are now, Fisher mentioned that the team cannot worry about what the other teams are doing at the moment and all they need to do is focus on their own performance. The forward mentioned that the club will have to play with the same intensity against the lesser teams like they did against teams like Saracens FC or Gloucester Rugby.
The London Irish suffered a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Bath Rugby and will take on the London Wasps over the weekend and Jonathan Fisher admitted that they will need to turn a corner and secure the results that they need to secure safety in the Premiership.
